About me!

I am a writer.  I am an ecologist.  If you can’t find me check the creeks or the low tides because I may be out there chasing a critter with my camera, notebook or hands.  I might also be writing you a letter on yellow notebook paper with a 0.7 mm lead from a mechanical pencil.  I don’t like pens.

I was reared on a mountain in Arkansas and academically reared on the salt marshes of Massachusetts.  This blog is my sharing my love of nature and of writing with you.  Thank you for reading.
